Termination Management:

Your dedicated HR consultant(s) will review the circumstances that have brought you to recommend an employee be terminated.
Kazdon will review all possible concerns and issues, helping determine next steps to address your goals while also limiting your company’s exposure.
Our experts will guide you through liability limiting paperwork, such as performance management documentation, disciplinary documentation, employee agreements and contracts.
Kazdon will develop the Termination Packet, including a termination letter, benefits information, and unemployment documents.
Our team will develop processes and execute a checklist, ensuring that the process is choreographed to cover all necessary and advised steps.
We are available as needed to assist and execute all administrative steps related to termination of employment including COBRA and other benefits issues.
Kazdon will provide an HR consultant to work as an agent of your company to execute the termination.

Workforce Reductions and Layoffs:
This is for situations where 2 or more terminations tied to a layoff,
or similar downsizing are occurring:

Kazdon will develop and execute a plan for your Reduction in Force.
Analyze employees selected for reduction against all relevant risk factors.
Kazdon will prepare a timeline of actions needing to be taken.
Develop of all necessary documents (such as those related to severance policy and calculations).
Kazdon will facilitate support from an employment lawyer to ensure all legal matters are reviewed, including Separation Agreements and Severance Pay.
We will send a team onsite to choreograph reduction events, including conducting/overseeing termination meetings in person on-site anywhere in the United States.
Kazdon can coordinate and provide outplacement services for your firm to terminated employees.

High Risk Terminations:

In High-Risk Terminations we will provide support from HR professionals with expertise in de-escalation with special training in psychology. As a third party, our role is to assist you in the process by staying on point ensuring the situation does not get out of control. Further, we will guide you through the process of protecting your facilities and employees with authorities or a security company if needed. It is very important that we, as a non-emotional party, are involved in this process so that if any anger, resentment, threats etc. arise from this action, they become mute points. Kazdon’s goal is to assist you in facilitating a smooth exit.
