To truly lift the administration burden, Kazdon's full service administration is the way to go. Here's how the work flows in our system.


Kazdon will complete your company's setup in 10 working days (in most cases) of receiving your data. At this time, we will notify your current COBRA enrollees of our role and send them their monthly premium coupons for premium remittance.
As the employer, you have 30 days to notify Kazdon of any COBRA events. At this time, you will terminate the qualified beneficiary's (QB) coverages with your carriers.
Kazdon has 14 days from receiving the event notification from you to send out the QB's COBRA notice and enrollment forms. Typically, we have these notices out within 5 days. We will begin tracking the enrollment period at this time.
When a QB sends in their enrollment forms and initial payment, Kazdon will reinstate them with the appropriate carriers and will send the QB their monthly premium coupons.
Kazdon will collect the premium due and provide accurate adjudication to allow only eligible enrollees to remain on COBRA.
Once a month, Kazdon will disburse collected premiums to your company, or if you have more than 500 employees, directly to your carriers along with full documentation and reporting.
All required notices will be sent in the appropriate timeframes. Kazdon will handle all ongoing calls for your account. These time consuming calls will not be referred back to your staff!
Upon termination of any beneficiary, Kazdon will send the QB a termination notice along with a HIPAA certificate for the period of COBRA coverage. We will also notify the carriers of termination.
